Using solar energy
We installed a photovoltaic system on our production roof at the beginning of 2023 in order to cover our own electricity requirements as far as possible. The solar system is an important step towards a more environmentally friendly future. By using the sun's energy, we can make a contribution to climate protection and reduce our dependence on fossil fuels.
High-quality products
The high standards of workmanship and material quality as well as the timeless design guarantee the quality and durability of the products. Our custom-made furniture can be adapted to new needs and living situations at any time. Thanks to high-quality fittings and well thought-out constructions, they can be assembled and disassembled several times. In combination with the timeless design, the furniture can be used for many years.
Mindfulness when shopping
When selecting our suppliers, environmental standards and materials and raw materials that are not harmful to health are important to us. We attach great importance to sourcing our materials from producers that are geographically as close as possible. Wherever possible, our panel materials and other supplied parts come from the region and from Switzerland.
Resource-saving production
Thanks to modern IT technology and the digital linking of planning and production, panel cutting is optimized. This increases efficiency and reduces the proportion of offcuts. Thanks to a sophisticated remnant management system, the system also calculates which remnant formats are placed in stock. This reduces the storage space and increases the utilization rate of the wood-based panels.
Multiple use and recycling
We reduce our waste through recycling. This starts with the training of our employees, who are encouraged to separate their waste in order to make it recyclable. In production, we strive to reuse materials. For example, cardboard boxes are reused for shipping fittings. Our products are delivered to the shipping company with as little packaging material as possible (low packaging). Offcuts from panel cutting, steel strip and cardboard are used to provide orders on Euro pallets on a commission basis.
Maintenance of a district heating network
Combustible production waste is used to heat the production and administration buildings in the company's own wood-fired system. In addition, a district heating network supplies heat to around 120 surrounding apartments as well as a shopping center, a restaurant and a joinery.
