Breisacher Foundation
The Breisacher Foundation awards prizes to high-achieving apprentices in skilled trades and service professions. The Breisacher Foundation promotes skilled trades in Central Switzerland, particularly in the cantons of Obwalden and Nidwalden. Every year, the foundation awards a considerable sum of money to high-achieving apprentices.
The property at Schoriedstrasse 1 in Alpnach went to the foundation as capital. The rental income of around CHF 200,000 does not only benefit apprenticeship graduates. The foundation also supports humanitarian projects, former or current employees of the family-owned company who are in need, as well as economically disadvantaged fellow human beings.
