The collaboration with Halter AG was extremely pleasant. Questions and uncertainties were clarified quickly and solutions were found quickly. The young team was always highly motivated.
One of the biggest challenges was the installation from the 18th floor upwards. From this floor upwards, there was no longer an external lift available, meaning that only two passenger elevators could be used for the installation. This led to considerable delays, as not all components fitted into the elevators as required and the elevators frequently stopped on different floors.
Michel Leuenberger, Branch Manager Bern, stopped his watch after 6'20'' when he climbed the 512 steps on foot during one of his numerous visits to the construction site.
The entire installation period, from the first delivery to the final installation, took 10 months and involved around 750 working hours.
